Impact of the Cultivation System and Pre-Sprouting of Selected Potato Cultivars on the Physico-Chemical Properties and Enzymatic Activity of Soil in the Conditions of Central-Eastern Poland

The aim of the study was to demonstrate effect cultivation system, cultivars and pre-sprouting potato on soil quality. Materials for research were obtained from a three-year (2016–2018) field experiment in Central-Eastern Poland. established using randomized sub-blocks method, dependent system which as follows: split-split-plot three replications. first order factor type organic (E), sustainable (S). second selection six (‘Denar’, ‘Gwiazda’, ‘Jurek’, ‘Satina’, ‘Tajfun’, ‘Jelly’) third pre-planting treatments (A) sprouted seed potatoes, (B) non-sprouted potatoes. comparison contributed changes chemical properties by increasing content C total N, thereby narrowing C:N ratio, reducing mineral N forms, changing acidity, enzymatic activity Adh, AFs, APs soil. Germination seed-potatoes increase nitrate soil, extend ratio. development agriculture climate conditions Poland can be achieved maintaining fertility improving its productivity, risk agricultural flexibility integrated agriculture.
